In Dagestan, road connections with 55 Dagestani settlements with a total population of 16 thousand people has been disrupted because of an avalanche.
According to the regional emergency department, avalanches occurred at the 7km mark of the Antsuh-Tlyarata road in the Tlyaratinsky District, as the result of which the Tlyarata-Makhachkala road was closed. 68 socially important facilities have currently been left with no road communications, Interfax reports.
No information about victims has been reported at the moment. 11 people and 5 vehicles are engaged in eliminating the consequences.
