Avalanches are expected in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic reported. The Ministry noted that in connection with avalanches, the likelihood of damage to vehicles, buildings, cable cars and power lines increases.
As the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted, there is not only an increased avalanche danger in the region, the situation is also complicated by increasing winds of 9-11 meters per second, and a decrease in the average air temperature, Caucasus Today reports.
