In Sochi, due to the threat of avalanche, a storm warning was announced, the city administration reported.
It is specified that the avalanche descent is possible in the mountains of the Krasnodar Territory at an altitude of more than 1.5 km. "Storm warning ... from 18.00 March 16th to 18.00 March 18th, in the mountains of Sochi at 1 thousand meters above sea level, there is the avalanche danger," the report reads.
In this regard, all city services are in the state of readiness.
