Russia's EMERCOM in the Dagestan region has informed today about a high degree of avalanchw danger in the mountains of the country. The service expects avalanches from 6:00 PM January 21st to 6:00 PM January 22nd.
In this regard, cases of damage of federal and local roads, transmission interruptions, collapse of buildings and injured tourists and athletes are possible. Residents are asked to refrain from long journeys in Dagestan and trips to areas of high avalanche danger.
