The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense revealed the list of martyrs who died in the Second Karabakh war, according to the ministry's website.
"In addition to the information dated December 3, 2020 about 2783 servicemen of our Armed Forces who died as martyrs in the Patriotic War, we declare that 2723 martyrs have been buried until today," the statement reads.
The photos, names, surnames, information about military ranks and date of birth of the buried martyrs were presented.
Work on finding servicemen considered as missing and the identification of persons, whose identity has not yet been established, continues. "Information on this will periodically be presented to the country's public," the ministry added.
