An agreement on swap gas supplies between Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan entered into force.
The contract provides for the sale and transportation of 1.2-2 bcm of gas from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan through Iran.
The heads of Azerbaijan, Iran and Turkmenistan signed a trilateral agreement on swap gas supplies within the framework of the 15th summit of the heads of state of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states on November 28.
