The regular meeting of the Azerbaijani-Georgian Commission on International Transport Relations was held, during which the sides discussed the current situation in the field of international road transport between Azerbaijan and Georgia, the State Road Transport Service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Transport said.
"The parties agreed on the introduction of new licensing forms with the aim of preventing the activities of illegal carriers, and on defining new permits for the automobile and freight transportation, with taking into account growing trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan," the service said.
"The sides also discussed issues of exchange of statistical data, the problems of cargo carriers and ways to address them, development prospects, etc," abc.az cited the service as saying.
