Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan Ilham Aliyev and Serdar Berdimuhamedov exchanged congratulatory letters on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.
"I believe that there are favourable conditions for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in all areas, especially in the field of transport. I am sure that, using these opportunities, we will together strengthen our traditionally friendly relations and further expand the scope of our interaction," Aliyev's message reads.
In turn, Berdimuhamedov noted that Baku and Ashgabat are successfully cooperating in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres.
