Azerbaijan appeals to int’l organizations to return body of its serviceman

Azerbaijan’s State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons has appealed to international organizations for returning the body of an Azerbaijani soldier, the Commission said, Trend reports.

Urgent measures are being taken on this issue. The public will be informed.

According to a message from Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry, it was established that the body of the Azerbaijani serviceman, Bahruz Jalilbayli, who left the service place after committing a military offense, was found on the contact line at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border in the direction of the Ordubad District of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, near the positions of the Armenian armed forces.
