The Vice-President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), Khalig Mammadov, stated that the country has appealed to the Caspian states with a request to help in the search in their internal territorial waters for the bodies of Azerbaijani oil workers who went missing after the accident on the oil platform at 'Guneshli' field.
He noted that a corresponding appeal was directed to the border services of Kazakhstan, Iran, Russia and Turkmenistan. "All the management of the departments, including SOCAR, is at the sea," Interfax quoted Mamedov as saying.
