Azerbaijan becomes chair of GUAM

Ukraine handed over the chairmanship of the GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development to Azerbaijan today. This decision has been adopted in December at the Council of Foreign Ministers of GUAM in Belgium.

The ex-ambassador of Azerbaijan to Spain Altay Efendiyev will become GUAM Secretary General for the next four years, APA reports.
