Today, at the frontal zone, the official opening of three new military bases was held. It was attended by the Defense Minister, Zakir Hasanov, who got acquainted with the headquarters, barracks, training complexes and other facilities of the military bases.
Speaking about the development of the military infrastructure of Azerbaijan, Hasanov noted that these units were built on the order of the President and the Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev.
"In the army, reforms are being carried out in all directions, the combat readiness and social conditions of the personnel are in the spotlight. All weapons, military vehicles, equipment were updated, modernized and delivered to military units. Special attention is paid to the preparation and maintenance of the military units located at the frontline zone," Trend quoted him as saying.
