Azerbaijan celebrates Ramadan

Today Azerbaijan marks the end of Ramadan. Many thousands of Muslims are making festive prayers in the mosques of the country.

Earlier the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the muslims of the country. "Dear compatriots, I heartily congratulate you on the blessed holiday Ramadan, convey to each of you my most sincere wishes," the President said.

"The holding of this sacred holiday at the state level shows how much we appreciate the multicultural principles and the principles of tolerance," Ilham Aliyev said.
