Azerbaijan "cleans up" tourism market

Azerbaijan has launched a campaign to clear the tourism market of companies that provide poor services in the tourism sector.

The first step was an action carried out by participants of the tourism industry market of the country, together with the Association of Tourism of Azerbaijan (AzTa): on the initiative of AzTa, the State Concern AZAL posted on its website a list of sub-agents who are officially authorized to carry out sales of passenger air traffic, the head of the Association Nahid Bagirov stated.

Right now AzTa is developing a list of travel companies in the country with which it is recommended to have cooperation. Upon completion of the work, it will be submitted to a broad overview, to ensure that those tourists who are going to vacation in Azerbaijan are spared from contact with dishonest tour operators.
