The long-term issuer default ratings of Azerbaijan in foreign and local currency are affirmed at BBB-, the outlook on the rating is still stable. This is stated in a message today by the international Fitch rating agency.
Other ratings are also confirmed, particularly the country’s ceiling rating is (BBB-), the short-term issuer default rating in foreign currency is (F3) and the ratings of senior unsecured notes in the country's local and foreign currency are (BBB-), Trend wrote.
Also, the agency positively evaluated the diversification of Azerbaijan's economy with the support of reforms aimed at better management and transparency of business.
