Azerbaijan's position on the normalization of relations with Armenia is clear and consistent, and there is no need to reiterate our position, which has been repeatedly stated, the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan commented on the statements of the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan regarding Azerbaijan's proposals to normalize relations between the two countries.
"Given the importance of normalizing Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and establishing peace in the region, Azerbaijan put forward its proposals and expressed readiness to move in this direction. If Armenia is serious about this issue, it must submit its specific proposals and thereby demonstrate readiness to start substantive and result-oriented negotiations," the ministry added.
