Azerbaijan has demanded to provide 'green corridor' to Russia for its agricultural products, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) said.
The question was raised at the meeting of the Committee’s chair Aydin Aliyev with the Russian ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin.
Aydin Aliyev noted that the Protocol signed last year between the SCC and the Russian Federal Customs Service on mutual recognition of customs control results for a number of products, establishes such a corridor and theoretically eliminates all the issues in the supply of agricultural products within the green corridor regime, abc.az reports.
Azerbaijan is also ready to discuss other issues which may arise in connection with the supply of agricultural products, as well as cooperation of customs authorities within international organizations.
