The event celebrates the Chinese New Year - also known as the Spring Festival - with a range of cultural activities and performances taking place across the capital.
Manezhnaya Square serves as the primary venue, but the festival's program extends to various locations throughout Moscow.
The festival will continue through March 1. Celebrations for Chinese New Year began on February 17 and are set to conclude on March 3.
