The information spread in the Armenian media about the alleged attacks of the Azerbaijani army on Armenian civilians and infrastructure is disinformation and another slanderous lie of the opposite side, according to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
"By this, the Armenian side is trying to hide its large-scale provocation and divert the attention of the international community," the ministry said.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has also dismissed information about a downed military plane. "The information spread by the Armenian side about the alleged destruction of a military aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan in the direction of the Basarkechar region is false and disinformation," the Defense Ministry said.
