Azerbaijan’s border guards detained French citizen Malavialle Olivier Alain, born in 1979, for attempting to illegally cross the border from Georgia on April 5, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan said.
The French citizen has been repeatedly prosecuted for illegal activities, violence and theft, damage to public property, violation of public order and use of drugs, the French embassy in Azerbaijan said.
The detainee was handed over to the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
