The quarantine period in Azerbaijan has been extended until October this year. The Chairman of the Azerbaijani government, Ali Asadov, approved the extension of quarantine in the Azerbaijan Republic until October 1, 2024.

The previous deadline was supposed to end on April 1, 2024.

Let us add that in March 2023, certain quarantine restrictions were relaxed. For example, foreigners are allowed to enter Azerbaijan by air.

In addition to this, a COVID passport is not required under the following circumstances:

  • visiting the Republic of Azerbaijan by foreigners;
  • staying in public places, including shopping malls, venues for festive events, catering establishments, hotels, transport routes, etc.
