Azerbaijan intends to purchase new fighter jets

Azerbaijan is planning to acquire new warplanes, Azerbaijan's Deputy Defense Minister - Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Ramiz Tahirov said.

"Negotiations are underway to purchase new aircraft for the Air Force. The capabilities of the aircraft presented to us by experts have been studied. The information on the jets is expected to be made public soon," he told Report.
