Today, at a meeting with the Minister of Trade and Customs of Turkey, Dzhenap Ashchy, the Minister of Economy and Industry of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev stated that by 2020 the country's total investment in the Turkish economy will amount to 17-20 billion dollars.
Mustafayev pointed out that thanks to the political will of the heads of both states, political and economic ties between Baku and Ankara have risen to the level of strategic partnership. According to the minister, there are great opportunities for the development of cooperation between the countries.
For his part, Ashchy stressed that there is a great economic potential for the development of bilateral ties. According to him, Turkey attaches great importance to the project of construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which will contribute to the further development of relations between the two countries.
