Today, Azerbaijan marks the fifth anniversary of the liberation of the city of Zangilan from Armenian occupation. Zangilan City Day is celebrated on October 20.
Zangilan, which was occupied in October 1993, was liberated from Armenian occupation on October 20.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has shared a post on his social media accounts today. "Our Victory History: October 20, 2020 - Zangilan," the post reads.
