Azerbaijan is negotiating with Turkey on the purchase of AK40-GL grenade launchers, the Turkish manufacturer reports.
"At the moment, negotiations are underway with Azerbaijan. In general, 20 countries are interested in this type of weapon. If the Turkish Ministry of National Defense approves the deal, we will be ready to supply products abroad," Selim Akdash, head of the company, said.
The AK40-GL light mortar is capable of firing over 5,000 rounds. The firing range is 400 and 800 meters.
