Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev gave an interview to the German ARD TV channel.
He said that Armenia started the war on September 27. “The answer is Armenia. And we have proof since the first casualties among civilians and military personnel were Azerbaijanis. This was the third consecutive military provocation against us. The first one took place in July. At that time, they attacked the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. There were casualties among our civilians and military personnel. The second attempt took place in August,” Ilham Aliyev said.
Ilham Aliyev explained that the return of Karabakh is not a matter of resources, but a matter of justice, national pride and international law.
