Azerbaijan's chairmanship of GUAM will be dynamic, informative and productive, and will bring cooperation in the framework of the organization to a higher level of interaction. This statement was made by the Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM, Altay Efendiyev, in an interview with Trend.
The diplomat believes that GUAM, as an instrument of regional cooperation, can and should play a more significant role in shaping this important region as a zone of peace, stability and dynamic development.
He also emphasized the successful cooperation of the participating states in the field of energy. Altay Efendiyev believes that the importance of the GUAM transport corridor is growing.
