Azerbaijan sends humanitarian aid to earthquake victims in Tajikistan

Today Azerbaijan sent humanitarian aid to victims of the earthquake that occured on December 7th in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region of Tajikistan.

The ceremony of sending the aid was attended by the Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Faig Tagizade, and the first secretary of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan, Salimi Khatloni.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, the humanitarian aid worth 800 thousand manats includes 9.5 tons of sugar, 9.5 tons of granulated sugar, 15 tons of rice and 3 tons of tea, more than 16 tons of cooking oil, 19 tons of flour, 19 tons of pasta, more than 18 tons of noodles, 2000 sets of bed linen, 50 generators, 110 tents, 6000 square meters of iron slate and 30 cubic meters of boards, Trend reports.
