Azerbaijan sets cost of living and need criterion for 2017

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed an order on application of the law on the limit of the 2017 need criterion in Azerbaijan.
 
For the purpose of determining targeting social assistance, the 2017 need criterion limit has been set AZN 116, APA reports.
 
With a separate presidential order, the 2017 cost of living has been set AZN 155 countrywide, AZN 164.5 for working-age population, AZN 130.2 for pensioners, and AZN 136.6 for children. 
 
The law will enter into force on January 1, 2017.
