Azerbaijan has defined four priority areas for the tourism development until 2020. They are reflected in ‘’The strategic road map for the development of the specialized tourism industry in Azerbaijan’’ published today.
According to the document, the first priority is the full utilization of tourism potential of Baku. The second objective is the formation of a more favorable environment for the development of tourism in the country. The third priority is the development of tourism in Azerbaijan through the implementation of the regional tourism initiatives.
Another purpose is investments in the educational programs in the field of tourism and improvement of the industry standarts and certification systems to increase the satisfaction level of the tourists.
