Azerbaijan simplifies rules for business licensing

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree minimizing the number of licenses for commercial activities, simplifying licensing rules and ensuring transparency of the process. 

In accordance with the decree, the Ministry of Economy and Industry is determined by a body which issues special permits (licenses) for business. At the same time, it will issue licenses based on the conclusions of relevant authorized agencies. Physical issuance of licenses will be implemented with the help of a simplified access to public services (ASAN-centers), Abc.az reports.
