Azerbaijan has signed a ten-year contract to host the Formula 1 races, the Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov republic said.
He noted that if the country decides not to carry out these events in the first five years, it will be fined under the terms of the agreement. As for the second five-year plan, Azerbaijan will be free to decide whether it continues to organize these races or abandon them, Trend reports.
