In connection with the coronavirus pandemic in Azerbaijan, in the first month, the state paid 38,491,000 manats to 21,432 employers who had previously applied for help, the Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov announced at a briefing by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers in the Baku Business Center.
He specified that payments were made so that employers keep working places for employees during the quarantine regime, avoiding cuts. In total, 224 602 employees are employed by entrepreneurs who have received this support
