Azerbaijan temporarily imposes ban on meat from Iran

Azerbaijan has decided to suspend meat imports from Iran. The State Veterinary Service of the restriction of import of agricultural animals and animal products from Iran explained that the measure was taken due to an outbreak of foot and mouth disease in the province of Qom, Trend reports.

Earlier, Azerbaijan also restricted the importation of animal products from several provinces of Turkey because of the epidemic of foot and mouth disease among animals.
