Azerbaijani company Matanat-A intends to build a gypsum plant in Iran, the Iranian ambassador to Baku, Mohsen Pak Ayeen, said at the Azerbaijan-Iran business forum.
“We had a meeting with Matanat-A representatives and reached an agreement on the issue. Azerbaijan is developing and we are happy with Azerbaijan’s success in the production of building materials. We welcome Matanat-A company’s initiative," Trend cited him as saying.
Iran’s deputy industry minister for mining and mineral industries, Jafar Sarghini, said the Azerbaijani company has already obtained a license to operate in Iran.
