Azerbaijan to build two international airports on liberated lands, Ilham Aliyev says

Two airports will be built in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan: one, as reported earlier, in Fizuli, the second in the Kelbajar-Lachin zone, President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev said today at the meeting on the results of the previous year.

According to him, in accordance with his instructions, the territory for the construction of a modern international air harbor is being determined in the Lachin or Kelbajar regions. "Indeed, there is a very difficult relief, and the vast majority of the territories are mountainous. It is not easy to find a place there, research is underway, and I hope that information will be provided to me in the near future," AzerTAc quotes the head of state as saying.
