Upper Lars now: over 2,500 trucks stuck at checkpoint

The North Ossetia Traffic Management Center reported over 2,500 trucks queued at the Upper Lars checkpoint on Sunday, July 20,

While all types of vehicles can currently access the border route, truck traffic was restricted on Thursday and Friday due to a lack of parking spaces. 

A total of 2,840 trucks are currently waiting to enter Georgia from Russia.
