March 20-24 will be marked as an official holiday in Azerbaijan. The corresponding decision was taken by the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, according to the website of the Azerbaijani government.
However, given the fact that March 20th falls on Sunday, March 25th will also be a day off. Since the March 26th and 27th are Saturday and Sunday, Azerbaijani citizens will have 8 non-working days on Novruz.
In addition, by decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Ramadan holiday will be celebrated on July 6-7 and Eid al-Fitr on September 12-13 in 2016, Trend reports.
