AzerGold Uzbekistan, a subsidiary of AzerGold, will develop the Akba gold deposit in Uzbekistan's Kashkadarya Region.
Company specialists will conduct geological surveys and analyse the deposit's potential, with exploration to run for 18 months once documentation is finalized.
Industrial reserves are estimated at 13 tonnes, while total resource potential exceeds 60 tonnes, valued at an estimated $8.3 billion.
