The Azerbaijani Milli Majlis introduced a draft law 'On combating religious extremism.'
In accordance with it, religious extremists bear criminal, administrative and civil responsibility for their criminal activities.
In addition, the powers of the security forces during special operations against such offenders are expanding. The draft law will allow them to cause damage to health, life and property of the extremists in the course of special operations, Trend reports.
