Azerbaijan will increase gas production by 20% by the end of 2019, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said at the Caspian Oil & Gas Conference in Baku.
According to him, gas production increased significantly last year, and this trend will continue in subsequent years.
Speaking of SOCAR's foreign investments, Rovnag Abdullayev said that the company is the largest investor in Turkey.
"As of today, we have invested $15 billion in the Turkish economy, and it is planned to increase this figure to $19.5 billion in the future," Abdullayev noted.
