According to the order of President Ilham Aliyev, tourist companies of Azerbaijan should reduce the period of issuance of electronic visas from 10 to 5 days, the ministry of culture and tourism of the country reports.
Today in Azerbaijan electronic visas are issued by 65 local tourist companies, which were accredited in accordance with the rules. They are mainly engaged in tourism. The procedure for the issuance of electronic visas was introduced in Azerbaijan since March 2013, abc.az recalls.
