The mask mandate in Azerbaijan will be removed from May 1, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the decision, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and its possible consequences in Azerbaijan, a special quarantine regime has been extended until 06:00 July 1, 2022.
Meanwhile, wearing masks at international airports and educational institutions operating in Azerbaijan is no longer required, the decision said.
In addition, the special quarantine regime in Azerbaijan has been extended until 06:00 (GMT+4) on July 1, 2022.
According to the decision, the regime was extended in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection and its possible consequences.
