Azerbaijani companies have signed a number of contracts at the food exhibition Gulfood 2017, which is being held in the UAE, Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry said.
The contract for the supply of meat from Azerbaijan was signed between Azerbaijan’s Azprotein and General Trading Company (UAE).
"The following companies received export proposals at the exhibition: Asico - export of fruits and vegetables to Kuwait; AHEC - delivery of nuts to Egypt, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia; Astara Tea and Kercom for start of export of tea and honey to Dubai," abc.az cited the statement as saying.
Gulfood 2017 will last until March 2.
