Taking into account the appeals of international structures, as well as taking into account the peaceful policy pursued by the state, the command of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan made a decision to unilaterally stop the counteroffensive in Nagorno-Karabakh and begin to strengthen the territories liberated yesterday, the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan says.
"If the Armenian Armed Forces will not stop their provocative actions and will continue attacks on residential areas and military positions, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will continue offensive operations using all available resources," the statement stresses.
Recall that on the night of April 2nd all the border positions of Azerbaijan were shelled from large-caliber weapons, mortars, rocket-propelled grenades and guns. In addition, a number of shots were fired at settlements near the frontline, densely populated by civilians.
