On Saturday, April 16, a ship sailing under the Equatorial Guinea's flag in the direction of Malta crashed near the Tunisian city of Gabesh due to bad weather, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.
It is specified that there were two citizens of Azerbaijan on board. "The crew, including Azerbaijani citizens, was not injured in the shipwreck. Appropriate measures are currently being taken to evacuate our citizens", the ministry said.
