Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry: The OSCE Minsk Group is not a monopolist of talks on Karabakh

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry made a statement today on the occasion of a document recently published by the OSCE Minsk Group, directed against the participation of the PACE in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev announced the statement.

According to Hajiyev, the Foreign Ministry's position is that the OSCE Minsk Group has no reason to monopolize the negotiating process on a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Trend reports.

"In its statement as of January 22nd, the OSCE Minsk Group, which interferes in the activities of the other international organization, is trying to contribute to the settlement of the conflict, as well as to the affairs of a sovereign state, which had appealed to international organizations with an issue of serious concern that causes doubts about the objectivity of the mediation efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and undermines confidence in them,’’ he said.
