The press service of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported today that the Armenian leadership's statement that Nagorno-Karabakh is an integral part of Armenia is more evidence of the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.
According to the representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Hikmet Hajiyev, such an irresponsible statement by the Armenian leadership regarding the violation of the sovereignty of Azerbaijan and the annexation of its territories is a good example of the syndrome of impunity, arbitrariness, disrespect for international law, the UN Charter, relevant UN Security Council resolutions, the negotiation process and the international community.
In addition, the Foreign Ministry representative drew attention to the fact that Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated and proved, based on irrefutable evidence, that the participation of Armenia in the negotiating process bears only an imitation character and deludes the international community, the goal of the Yerevan authorities is the preservation of the current status quo, based on the annexation and occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
