Astana will host the 13th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Kazakh intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation on September 21-22, 2016. It will be chaired by Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Natig Aliyev and Kazakhstan's Kanat Bozumbayev, Azerbaijan's Energy Ministry said.
The committee's agenda will include the issues of economy, energy, transport, agriculture, environmental protection and culture, holding of exhibitions and business forums, as well as the most important issue - supplies of Kazakh oil and oil products from Azerbaijan to world markets, Trend reports.
According to the country's State Customs Committee, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan totaled $90.7 million.
