The decisions we will adopt and the documents we will sign will serve even more active development of relations between Baku and Astana, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said at the meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev in Baku.
"We attach great importance to your visit to Azerbaijan. I’m confident that this visit will serve to strengthen fraternal relations between our countries and peoples,” Aliyev stressed.
Kazakhstan is a friendly and brotherly country for Azerbaijan, President Aliyev noted.
Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that Nazarbayev’s visit to Azerbaijan will be more productive and will yield good results.
“This visit will further bring two countries closer and create even more favorable conditions in the region,” concluded Azerbaijan’s president
He pointed out that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan enjoy cooperation in numerous spheres, always support each other on the international arena and implement numerous important events and initiatives in the region.
The president said the agenda of the Kazakh president’s visit is quite extensive. "There are many issues that we will discuss. I’m confident that the decisions we will adopt and the documents we will sign will serve even more active development of relations between the two countries," APA cited him as saying.
